This is not that bad, but sometimes the platforming can be a tad off and the checkpoints can be pretty far spread out. None of the game is too cryptic, but there are some parts that are trial and error as you will die first time, before you even know what is happening. You need to sneak around, solve puzzles, do a bit of platforming, and most importantly of all, avoid the creatures that want you dead! You always know where they are and it is the fear of getting caught that keeps you on your toes. The gameplay of Little Nightmares is quite interesting.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES 1 MOVIE
Again, the soundtrack sounds like something that would have been in a Tim Burton movie and I mean that as a compliment. It fits in with the creepy visuals perfectly. The soundtrack of the game does its job and it does it well. The game makes great use of lighting and it is amazing at how scary a world they were able to create in 2D.
There are these chefs in particular that creeped the hell out of me. The Maw is a fantastic place (well it is horrible, but you know what I mean) and the game has some of the most grotesque and off-putting creatures around. However, the visuals and the whole style of Little Nightmares has a very Tim Burton kind of feel to it. Ok, so Tim Burton actually had nothing to do with this game. I liked how the story unfolded and it was one of those games where once I beat it, I needed to talk to someone about it right away. The storytelling here is great and it is not a story that is full of jump scares. We play as a little girl who is called Six and she is trapped inside this nightmarish facility that is called The Maw. This game constantly has you in a state of fear which is very well done. Well, Little Nightmares plays on that kind of fear.
